Number 13 is lucky for SAWTST!

Updated: Apr 9, 2019

On March 8th, 2019, SAWTST celebrated 13 years as a small business. This is no small feat when you consider that businesses previously known as pillars in our community, have had to liquidate their businesses or close their doors altogether. Changes in trends, technologies and staffing have all contributed to the downfall. Bloomberg Businessweek, a nationally recognized magazine reports that 8 out of 10 entrepreneurs fail within the first 18 months of launching their business.

Here we are. Still standing. We’re proud to have lasted this long and when we celebrate our birthday as a company, we celebrate YOU. Our stakeholders, staff, employees and our cheerleaders on the sidelines. No success story starts or ends with one person. It starts and succeeds over time with the input of each of you who’ve invested your time, efforts, and brain power into SAWTST’s mission to provide our customers with exceptional service in all areas and on all contracts, we have throughout the United States.

Some who started the race with me have moved on to other opportunities and I continue to wish them well. For those of you that have joined the team, I say, “Let’s keep on moving forward. What we provide to our country is invaluable and I look forward to you taking the journey with me.”

Happy Birthday to SAWTST. I celebrate this company milestone with you and ask you to continue the ride with me for another 13 lucky years.

* CEO Ron Saxton credits the success of SAWTST with a combination of having a successful business model poised for growth, increasing revenue streams and picking the right staff to take his dream forward.
